Given enough time, I get the urge to dump a login name I've been using everywhere in favor of something new. It's mostly for nebulous and esoteric reasons, but it's best explained as having something to with a certain dysphoria I feel toward the name itself, as though it belonged to an identity that just wasn't me anymore. It's great for me but a little annoying for people I know and keep up with. It's also practical. I wanted a name that was 8 characters or less that I could pretty much guarantee would be available wherever I needed it.

Anyways, if you're so inclined, I'm switching over to mnenyver @ everywhere (or just M if you like), including here₁. I can still be reached at the old dandelionoracle @ everywhere, at least until everyone forgets about that address. :)

1: As you can see by the dates on the posts, I've been trying the name on for size and turning around a few times in front of the mirror. And mostly wondering "Do I reeeally want to make everyone change all their contact info for me?" Umm. Sorry? :)
